Gelareh Pour and Mick Trembath at FoSM

Gelareh Pour and Mick Trembath play at the FoSM (Festival of Slow Music) Ballarat.

Gelareh plays the Persian spiked fiddle (the Kamancheh). She was born in Tehran-Iran and studied Persian music at the Art University of Tehran. Gelareh has performed in Iran, Australia, Tajikistan and throughout Europe and currently studies Ethnomusicology at the MCM.

Mick Trembath self taught guitarist from the age of 14. Deeply influenced by early blues players (John Lee Hooker, T-Bone Walker and Bukka White).He has worked in theatre and studied Animateur at VCA.
Mick has toured Europe in large avant garde performance troupes, played blues throughout South East Asia and reggae through Korea. Currently based in Ballarat and playing in the blues boogie duo Navaja Negra.
